How It Works

Pub Quiz Bingo uses a standard 75-ball card (5x5 with a free space in the centre) but replaces the progressive line-win structure with pattern-based wins. Instead of winning on one line, two lines, three lines, and so on, players complete specific shapes across the card.

Patterns vary game to game and include shapes such as corners, letters (T, H, X, L), diamonds, and crosses. Each pattern pays its own prize when completed, with the full house remaining the top prize in every game.

The 48-call jackpot trigger window is the most generous on the site — wider than the 43-call windows used by other 75-ball rooms at Vampire Bingo.

Prizes

Every game pays out on pattern-based prize tiers, which vary by game. Typical patterns include:

  • Corners (the four corner squares)
  • Letters (T, H, X, or L shapes formed across the grid)
  • Diamonds (symmetrical diamond centred on the card)
  • Crosses (plus-shape through the middle rows and columns)
  • Full house (all squares complete)

On top of standard pattern prizes, the £500 jackpot triggers when a player completes a full house within 48 numbers called. The jackpot splits 50/50: £250 to the winner, and £250 shared among all other ticket holders in the game.

If no player completes a full house within 48 numbers, the standard full house prize still pays out to the eventual winner, but the jackpot carries to the next game.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do Pub Quiz Bingo tickets cost?

Tickets range from £0.15 to £0.40, with three stake levels available. The £500 jackpot is the same at every price point.

What is the Pub Quiz Bingo jackpot?

The jackpot is £500, split 50/50. £250 goes to the player who completes a full house within 48 numbers. £250 is shared among all other ticket holders in the game.

What hours is Pub Quiz Bingo open?

The room is open every day from 12pm to midnight. It is closed overnight and in the morning.

What is pattern bingo?

Pattern bingo awards prizes for completing specific shapes on the card rather than progressive lines. Instead of winning on one line, two lines, three lines, etc., players complete shapes such as corners, letters, diamonds, or crosses. The pattern varies game to game.

How is Pub Quiz Bingo different from Fish & Chips Frenzy?

Both rooms use 75-ball cards, but the prize structure differs. Fish & Chips Frenzy uses progressive line-based wins (one line, two lines, three lines, four lines, full house). Pub Quiz Bingo uses pattern-based wins (shapes formed across the card).

Why is the 48-call trigger looser than other 75-ball rooms?

Other 75-ball rooms at Vampire Bingo (Fish & Chips Frenzy and Deal or No Deal Bingo 75) use a 43-call jackpot trigger. Pub Quiz Bingo's 48-call window is the widest on the site, giving the jackpot more opportunities to drop within each game.

What happens if nobody wins within 48 calls?

The standard full house prize still pays out to the eventual winner, but the £500 jackpot is not awarded and carries to the next game.
